Born from the legend of Jörmungandr, a gigantic sea monster and the middle child of Loki, this is a pattern of controlled chaos. Like the giant sea monster that encircles the world and bites its own tail, the pattern flows endlessly across the blade. Tight and restrained at the edges, swelling toward a chaotic, roaring peak at the heart of the billet.
Each billet is a battle of order and destruction, the same tension that exists between Jörmungandr and his nemesis, Thor. Whether planning a small blade or a great one, the pattern adapts, revealing depth, motion, and menace, steel that looks alive, as if it’s waiting to strike.
Available as flat bar.
Consists of two different hardenable knife steel grades. It combines corrosion resistance with superior strength. An unique cutting ability is achieved through superior edge properties. Easy to maintain. An excellent steel for edge tools such as knives.
